Georgia's Story...
Georgia is an energetic, loving, curious, eager, playful, and adaptable dog,and great with kids! She is an affectionate family pet who loves to give kisses. She'll follow you around like a shadow, then curl up in your lap for a nap--as long as she gets plenty of exercise!. She is extremely playful and likes challenging games and lots of outdoor romps. She makes a good watchdog because she is very protective and quick to sound the alarm at the approach of an intruder. She will bark to alert you, but is not a yappy dog. She's estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 25 lbs. If you'd like to see video, photos, and learn more about her - please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Georgia is fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Hamburg Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
