LIVIE's Story...
My name is OLIVIA (LIVIE) and I am a 1-1/2 year old female Jack Russell Terrier with a tri-colored, lightly broken coat. I am tiny, weighing under 12 lbs, and I’m as cute as a bug! I love to play and play and play, but I am quiet and not demanding. I love other dogs and would like to have a doggie companion to play with. I’m great with kids of all ages, but no kids under the age of 6 years, please. I need to have a house with a fenced yard, not an apartment. All my shots are current and I have been microchipped. My Heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme Disease tests were all negative, and all my shots are current. What more could you want? I am housetrained and crate trained, and I LOVE to ride in the car. I am a happy girl who just loves everyone. I am very content to sleep by your side on the sofa while you read or watch TV. I love to play with toys which I will throw up in the air and catch by myself. I am very good with puppies because I am still a puppy myself at heart. My tail never stops wagging! I can sit and I’m VERY smart, so you can teach me all kinds of tricks. I am very well mannered. My adoption fee is $300. Please call Sue at 480-391-9837 or email her at for an Application for Adoption. I won’t last long here at rescue because I’m just too darned cute!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LIVIE, a Scottsdale Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
