Crash's Info...

Breed: Domestic Longhair Color: White (Mostly) Age: Adult
Sex: Male Hair: Long
Crash's Story...
Crash is probably around 2-3 years old. He is white & black and has long hair. Crash is so named because he came to us after being hit by a car. We got a call from a lady begging for us to help. She had called all the other shelters and no one would help her help this poor cat she found hit on the road! So Mary came to the rescue! She took him in and got him comfortable until she could get him to the vet the next day. He ended up having a pin put in his leg. He was so matted and covered in fleas too! He was shaved and flea treated too. His leg has now healed and his hair is starting to grow back and he is ready to find his forever home. One that will NOT let him outside to get hit by a car again! He is very sweet and he is long haired. Right now he looks like a lion with the long hair around his head and the rest of his body short!

Adoption donation is $80. He is neutered, current on shots and Leukemia negative.

Contact Mary at 724-423-5571 or email her at drawcat@zoominternet.net to schedule an appointment to meet him. This little boy deserves a second chance at a truly good home!

About Our Shelter...
Animal Keepers Rescue is a non-profit - 501(c)3-, no-kill, all volunteer cat and kitten rescue. We are a small shelter dedicated to proving a safe haven to homeless, abused, unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. All are provided with vet care and we offer a spay/neuter program for all pets adopted from our shelter.
The volunteers at our shelter donate countless hours to help kitties in need because of their love for the wonderful furry creatures. It is not their fault that they are unwanted! By helping find homes for around 150 cats a year and by spay/neutering so they don't create more unwanted pets we are making the world a better place on kitty at a tie.
Come Meet Our Pets...
An appointment can always be arranged to see our cats and kittens either at our shelter or our foster mom's home. We also hold adoption events at Petco in Greensburg once a month, Walmart in Mt Pleasant and other venues. Please email, call or visit our website to see up and coming adoption events.
Our Adoption Process...
The Adoption donation for an adult cat is $80.00. This included spay/neutering, current shots and they are leukemia tested negative.
Kittens are $65.00 plus $30 for our neuter program or an additional $45.00 for our spay program. The spay/neuter program also includes all shots for the first year.
An adoption application must be completed to determine if you and the kitty you like are a good match.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crash, a Acme Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
