Chester's Story...
Chester is a gorgeous one year old male puggle. He loves everyone and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He enjoys sitting in your lap, looking deep in your eyes - but wonderfully he is not licky at all. He walks well on a leash and weighs 25lbs. Chester will need some help with housetraining and he may have some separation anxiety. We recommend training for all young dogs to help strengthen the bond between owner and dog - and Chester is no exception.

If you are interested in finding out more about Chester, please fill out an application on our website. Chester is being fostered in Malden.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Worcester Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
