Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luke is on Hold
Luke is a 1 year old brindle male with natural ears. He is a very playful boy who needs and deserves a lot of love and attention. He is currently living with a female Dane and 3 small dogs. He meets new dogs very well and is always ready to play. We do not know how he is with cats. Luke hasn't had much life experience. He does not do well in new situations and does not meet new people well. When exposed to new people he tends to exhibit fear aggression and will bark and growl. He will need a calm home with a patient owner. Luke will do best in a home without children under 12 since he is easily startled and is wary of new people.
Update 5/13/13 - Luke is on adoption hold while we spend time working with veterinarians and behavior modification to see if we can help his severe anxiety.
Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League can only adopt within its incorporated area (eastern NY, eastern PA, NJ, DE, WV, MD, and VA). For more information on our adoption policies please visit our website: www.magdrl.org To adopt a Great Dane under 2 you must have traditional fencing (no electronic fences permitted).
