Bella's Story...
My story: Hello. My foster family calls me little Bella bat because of my very large ears that I am growing into nicely. I started my journey with St. Francis by being found in a tree trunk. I am a beautiful dark gray with black tabby stripes and yellow eyes. I don't miss a thing! I will run to greet whoever makes the slightest noise with the turning door handle. I am not crazy about dogs. I puff up to twice my size and spit fiercely! There may be a little diva hiding behind these whiskers.
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Unknown | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
