Ashley Lou's Story...
We rescued and adopted out Ashley Lou when she was only 2 months old. She had a little kitty friend and wasvery happy. Unfortuantely, their humans can no longer keep the kittens for reasons related to travels and moves to a new home. it is our promise to our rescued kitties to take them back if their humans can no longer keep them for any reason. Ashley Lou and Mandy went to different foster homes, but if someone wants to adopt two amazing kits - please consider.

Ashley Lou loves people and other cats. She is stunning, all black with shiny, beautiful coat and big clear eyes. She is sweet, playful amd gentle. She is still a kitten - about 7 months old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashley Lou, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
