My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SASHA
7 Year Old Female Brown Mackerel Torbie Russian Siberian
front-paw declaw

Sasha is a soft beautiful purebred female brown mackerel torbie Russian Siberian. She was born in March 31, 2005. Sasha is a quiet, sweet and sometimes silly family cat. She will follow you around but gets scared if there is a lot of activity and will chill out in the closet or under the bed when she needs away time. Sasha loves to be scratched and will sit next to you or on your lap for a little while. When she's had enough she will put herself just out of reach but close enough to keep you company. Sasha spends a lot of her day in the window or on something high where she has a view. At night she will quietly prowl around the house ending up on your bed after you settle in. She's very entertaining too as she still goes crazy with a good game of chase the feather or paper bag hide n seek and she meow's up a storm at breakfast and dinner time.

The Siberian cat has a stable, well-balanced temper and excellent health. They are affectionate, friendly, playful, loyal to their families and amenable to handling. Siberians are very agile and are great leapers. Siberians strongly carry their natural instincts for hunting, quick learning and problem solving, so it is easy to teach them to fetch and do other tricks. They also seem to have a fascination with water. People refer to them as having "dog-like" qualities. They have sweet facial expressions that make you melt. Siberians poses magnificent semi-long hair, triple-coated, waterproof coat that comes in most colors. Despite its density, the coat is easy to manage, as it does not shed intensively or mat. Their regal collars and bushy tails add to Siberians unique elegance. Siberians are also known to have hypo allergenic qualities, where many individuals with allergies can enjoy these wonderful cats.

Sasha has been raised with children so a family home would be good for her as long as the children have a light and gentle touch. She tolerates dogs but she would prefer a home without a dog. Sasha has never been around another cat. Her ideal home will be a house where she is the only pet and a quite home that she can enjoy by her self with her human partners.

Sasha is fostered in the Sacramento area. This is the website for Katy McFurr Cattery where Sasha came from. Both her parents came over from Russia.
