My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy is approximately 2 years old female Weim and still has a lot of puppy in her. She is a very loving dog and is anxious to please. She does give kisses, but avoids faces for the most part. Brandy is fairly quiet, but wants all the attention.

She will pull on the lead. She prefers to be an inside dog (like all Weimeraners!). She doesn’t like the tie out, but is learning. She was previously trained on an invisible fence at her old home.

She is more comfortable with females and will shy away from males – especially if she is doing something she shouldn’t. She is smaller for a Weim and has some skin issues which she is seeing the vet for. Brandy is good with other dogs and cats. She eats very well.

Brandy has some potty issues, but we are working on correcting those. She does know when she has done wrong and has made improvements, but hasn’t mastered yet. She is very smart (like a typical Weim) and just needs further training and consistency.

Brandy likes to pick through garbage when you aren’t looking - Weims are sneaky! The foster family had to remove all their garbage cans to other locations to out-smart her - Weims sure are smart!

Brandy stays in the crate at night and when we aren’t with her. She does well in her crate and one is reccomended until she is comfortable in her new home. This also assists with her potty training.

And check out Brailey, she is being fostered with Brandy!
