Ciara's Story...
My story: My name is Ciara (Irish for black) and I'm the perfect combination of sweetness and spunk. I'm one of Tye’s four kittens, another St. Francis Society foster cat, who was abandoned and became pregnant before seeing her first birthday. I love to play and I love to love. My little motor roars with joy when I spot my caregiver. I can spin and chase a wine cork across a tile floor like a seasoned race car driver, providing endless entertainment. I am spayed, current on my vaccines, dewormed and ready for my forever loving home.
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ciara, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
