Rosie's Story...
My name is Rosie and I was born 5/22/10. I came from a hoarding situation where I didn't receive much attention. I love to play and be petted but I'm not used to being held for long periods. I'm working on it though. PS: I don't like my picture; I'm much sweeter than I look in it. And why do people keep asking me if I've got milk? Rosie only has 2 bottom teeth so she needs a diet of wet food only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Victor American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Victor, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Victor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victor paves the way for another one to be saved.
