Moriah's Story...
Moriah, came to us about a week ago. Her owners had to move to a mobile park and she was just too protective of her owners...I have had time to evaluate this beautiful mahogany girl and she is AWESOME!!!!! So super smart and learns soooooo fast!!!!! Moriah is about 3 yrs old, was registered, and is in awesome shape and health. Moriah lived with a cat, but no guarantees on a new cat...She is supposed to be good with other dogs also, if introduced carefully....She ALWAYS has a ball in her mouth, and loves to play with it, even dunks her head under water to retrieve it....She wasn't too sure about being here the first couple days, but once she figured out she could trust me, she is my shadow. She loves her head to be held in your hands and gives great kisses, and loves to clean your ear. Careful, sometimes she gets so happy doing it, her little nibbles come out...Moriah is a very SHARP dog, and will require a former/experienced Malinois handler. She could do agility, or any form of obedience. She already does doggy push-ups, the sit, down, sit, down, sit, down- continually!!! She knows stay, down, come and wait. She is used to sleeping with her former owner of 14 yrs of age, he kinda spoiled her, so she wants to continue that venue... ;_))) Moriah, would love to find someone with the time and energy to spend with her. Please fill out our online application for approval.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moriah, a Hamilton Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
