Macey is about four years old and is a Lab/Hound mix who weighs 80 pounds. She is a great walker and loyal companion, and she tends to bond to one person quickly. Macey does not have accidents in the house and can go at least eight hours without going outside during the day while you are at work. She goes in a crate easily, but we never had to keep her in one. She needs a home without children or other dogs but she gets along well with any type of cat!

We are a no-kill rescue organization. We believe every animal deserves a life free from abuse. We speak for those who can't.
Erie Shores does not have a shelter and must rely on foster homes or kennels for the animals that are saved. PLEASE consider and inquire about fostering. There are never enough foster homes.

Adoptable cats and kittens can be viewed at
the Elyria Petsmart daily.

As we do not have a formal shelter we are always happy to arrange a meeting with any adoptable animal you may be interested in by contacting our email address.
All potential adopters are screened before adoption can be completed.
Adopter must allow ESHS to conduct follow-ups on pets well being.

Dogs and Cats are Spayed or Neutered and shots are up to date. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV.
