Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut loves life and enjoys playing with his toys, especially the squeaky ones. Peanut also loves to sit in your lap and give you lots of kisses. He likes car rides and is great with other dogs. Peanut has one leg with patellar luxation, a condition in which the patella (kneecap) dislocates or moves out of its normal location. It is fairly common in small breed dogs and is likely inherited. Our vet does not think Peanut requires surgery at this time. His new family will need to help him keep his weight down and give him joint supplements daily. Also, a home with no (or very few) steps would be best.
Peanut's birth date is 02-02-12
Adoption fee - $125 which includes our Adoption Incentive Package: 6 months worth of heartworm preventative, one free medical exam with the adopter's personal vet at time of adoption, and a 6 week training opportunity to help the dog adjust to a home.
