Zeus's Story...
Zues is a very big loveable guy. He was never worked with as a puppy and is being fostered right now where he is learning his leash manners and basic commands. He is going to need a yard to play in and room to run. He still has alot of puppy in him and is full of energy. He has a very playful attitude and is very curious about things. He would be great for a family that has time to work with him and give him all the love and attention he needs and deserves. He "out grew" his previous owners and was never taught his manners as a puppy. This big guy deserves a forever loving home and would be your best friend forever. If you have any question you can call his foster family at 504-256-7906 or the office 985-419-9900.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Hammond German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Hammond, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Hammond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hammond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hammond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hammond paves the way for another one to be saved.
