Raven is a sweet, loving, fun loving girl.  She is the nurturing momma of Bailey (see https://portal.rescuegroups.org/edit?AnimalID=4710588 ).  Although she will do fine being adopted on her own, she would like nothing better than being adopted together with her boy.  As companions to each other they would stay younger and playful longer.

Raven’s Story:  Raven, was unceremoniously dumped when she became pregnant.   Dumping pregnant pets is unfortunately not unique.  It is all too common occurrences and in this bad economy it is worse than it used to be.  When they need us the most for proper nutrition and care they have to fend for themselves and starve.  Food is hard to find.  Being black they are shunned and cannot depend on hand outs from humans.  If they never learned to hunt some starve a long time before they finally get a hang of what to do.   When Raven finally had her babies and they were old enough to come out into the open, she suffered more abuse.  Teenage boys found her and began to stone her, take her babies and toss them against trees and using them as foot balls.  The faster ones got away.  Most died violent deaths.   Thanks to a kind lady who came upon the horrific scene Raven, Bailey and two sisters, Valentine and BOO (both adopted now), they were saved and began getting the love they had never known before.

Raven and Bailey have been looking for their own homes for quite a while.  But because they are black they are not as desirable as other cats.  Won’t you open your heart to these beautiful babes?  They are healthy and happy kitties that will give loads of joy in return for your love.

Raven will be adopted to an inside forever home only.  References, vet check and home visit are required.  Raven's adoption donation is $90.  If you would like to adopt her son Bailey as a companion for her the adoption donation will be $90 for both.  The adoption donation will be used to help other dumped and abused kitties like Raven and her family.

Raven and Bailey currently live at the Nashville Cat Clinic.  If you would like to meet them please call 615-361-1844
