Tona's Story...
Hi, I am Toña!
I am around 2 yrs old. I am a true survivor. When DRWB rescued me I was on the streets, starving and pregnant. I had my puppies and they all died. I was the only survivor.
But my life changed totally after DRWB stepped in. Since then, I have been living with my Foster Mother, she rehabilitated me, and gives me so much love. I am a lucky girl.
Currently I live with my doggy friends, I am used to socializing with people too! I like attention and enjoy being petted.
I really hope a loving family decides to adopt me one day. I had a rough start in this life but I hope for many happy years to come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tona, a San Diego Beagle/Harrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Harrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Beagle/Harrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Harrier breeders who help with Beagle/Harrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
