Champ's Story...
COMMUNITY DOG IN NEED OF HOME: If you are interested in Champ, please email debjackson1@comcast.net or call (530) 671-0505. "Beautiful, young 7 mos old, neutered male. His father was a white German Shepherd/Wolf mix and mother was a cattledog/Australian Shepherd. He is very smart and a very nice all around pup - He is housebroken, crate trained, will sit and sometimes stay. He plays outside in the yard during the daytime and he comes inside to his crate at night. He does not jump on furniture and rarely misbehaves. He loves to play with the other dogs and he is ok around adult cats. I think he would be too curious and rough around kittens. He has had all his puppy parvo-distemper shots and a rabies shot. I got him neutered almost 2 months ago. He is a very loveable dog."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a Yuba City German Shepherd Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
