Casey's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Casey's Story...

Casey is a neutered male, DSH black, 8 years old, Special Needs.

Casey is a very easy going, even tempered tomcat. He gets along with other cats and kittens. He was found starving to death after being dumped outside following a major snow storm. He has vestibular disease caused by either a prior head injury or birth defect. He has no problems getting around and acts like any other cat. The only thing you will notice is that his head is tilted. He prefers to sit back and observe rather than engage in play. He would prefer to be an indoor/outdoor cat in a home with a fenced yard.

For more information on Casey contact Ami and Donna at 810-423-6580 or email them at nm1mom@yahoo.com. His adoption fee is $75.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Howell Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Howell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
