Buttons $99.00's Story...
We are proud to introduce Buttons, a very sweet and social kitten who will melt your heart once you meet him. He was born around May 10th, and has been raised by a wonderful family since he was about 5 weeks old. He has incredible markings with a stunning personality to match. This is one kitten that will not be hiding under the couch. He is a friendly purrrrring machine.

Buttons is part of a set of triplet kittens who began life at Chicago animal control, but now reside in a foster home waiting to meet their Forever Family. Might that be yours? Buttons loves everyone in his busy foster family which includes 5 human children, 2 resident cats, a puppy, and his 2 litter mates. He knows no fear, and loves to play and cuddle. He is a little purrrring maching.

Buttons' journey started at Chicago Animal Control with his two littermates. The three huddled together, tiny and scared and waited to be rescued. Angels on Wheels saw them and new they couldn't leave them. We took them, and got them safe and sound into a loving foster home where they could begin to learn concepts such as love, warmth, fully bellies, and toys! Buttons loves to play with his siblings. He loves wrestling with them and boxing with his little paws. He's such a gentle, loving little guy who is now a regular at human/kitty snuggle time.

Buttons is being fostered in a home in a Naperville home with his brother, and sister . He's exposed to children, and all that goes along with having a family. A meet and greet for these kitties would take place in the foster mom's Naperville home.

An application is required prior to scheduling an appointment for a meet and greet with these wonderful, social kittens. To find an application, please go to angelsonwheels.org and fill out the feline on-line application.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them. We give a $50.00 discount to adopted siblings from the same litter, and $25.00 discount to military, firemen and police.

The adoption fee of $99.00 includes: The spay or neuter which is done when old enough, but paid for by the rescue if done through one of our 7 participating spay/neuter vets, kitty box trained, microchip, FeLv/FIV testing which was negative, 1st and 2nd kitten vaccination for Distemper-panleukopenia-calicivirus-chlamydia- rhinotracheitis vaccination, deworming, and given revolution for flea preventative and heartworm preventative. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park or Wheaton Animal Hospital, and a coupon booklet for Petco.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals and wanting to give them a wonderful home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttons $99.00, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
