Kanela's Story...
Hi! My name is Nilla and I am a 31/2 year-old sweetheart. Everyone always comments on how cute I am, but I am more than a pretty face. I am extremely well behaved. I am quiet and loving and get along with EVERYONE! I love playing with other dogs, children, adults and even cats! I especially love anyone who will rub my belly. I have 2 new hips and never felt better. I absolutely love going on walks and laying around in the park. Along with being housetrained, I know commands such as ‘stop’, ‘come’, and ‘sit’. I also walk very well on my leash. I am a true companion and love being around people and I am looking for a loving forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kanela, a Phoenix American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
