Gibbs - Adoption Pending's Story...
Gibbs is a gorgeous, sweet, fun loving, 7 month old, 23 pound, black with silver frosting, scrumptiously fluffy Cockapoo, who was recently rescued and is looking for the perfect person or family with which to enjoy the good life. Due to Gibbs’ large size for his age we are thinking one of his parents must have been a standard poodle. All we were told for sure is that he is a Cockapoo. Gibbs is very smart and seems eager to please. He learned how to use his foster mom’s dog door in less than 24 hours and hasn’t had an accident in the house yet. Not bad for such a young guy. Gibbs is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heart worm negative. If you are interested in adopting Gibbs please fill out our on line adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gibbs - Adoption Pending, a Westport Cockapoo puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo for sale in Westport, or seeking a Cockapoo puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo breeders who help with Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
