Shadow's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Shadow's Story...
Shadow is as outgoing puppy who loves people. His mother was a chihuahua, and his father a basset hound/beagle and he shows characteristics of all three breeds. He's sometimes shy around new people and dogs, but given a chance he warms right up. Once he knows you, he loves you and loves to snuggle.

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this pup will come to you up-to-date on shots, microchipped and treated for internal and external parasites. We do not support pediatric spay/neuter, so he has not yet been altered. An adoption fee of $250 will help offset the cost of care including spay/neuter once this pup reaches 6 months of age.

Are you up for puppy-play and snuggles? Visit http://www.mikeyschance.com/ or email mikeyschance@gmail.com for more information about this baby, and an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Seattle Chihuahua/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Basset Hound for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Basset Hound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
