REBA 7mos pup's Story...
Still a pup at 6-7months -- Reba was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in rural Ohio. Time was up and room needed to be made...Now safe, Dogworks is searching for a permanent loving home for this gorgeous girl. Reba has been quiet and friendly. Ok with other dogs and people of all ages. Cats unknown. She is currenlty 44 pounds and has a short soft orange/red coat. Very playful & curious. We are still learning about Reba. Adoption to home with secure fenced yard only. Hounds love to sniff and track -- so could potentially become lost without a fence. Adoption fee includes, spay, vaccine update, de-worming with stool check. Adoption fee $165.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

REBA 7mos pup, a Toledo Redbone Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
