My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

.....................................WELCOME TO A WONDERFUL RESCUE STORY.............................................
..............................A STORY THAT YOU CAN HELP WRITE A HAPPY ENDING TO. .............................
Meet Birdie. Birdie is a very sweet cockapoo puppy who was born with a deformed front right paw. Normally puppymills would put a puppy born with such a deformality down but this breeder had a heart and saved her. Once Birdie was old enough the breeder then released her into rescue. So here is Birdie looking for a loving family to give her a wonderful life. Birdies' paw deformality resulted in her not having a complete pad nor does she have complete extension of the leg. There is thickening of the upper arm bones as well. On profile is a picture showing her deformed paw. She does not display any signs of pain or discomfort with the paw. When Birdie runs she holds paw up off ground but when she turns or stands she does use the paw to stabilize herself. The vet states there is no fix for Birdies' birth defect but no amputation is needed either. Birdie is lovable, playful and easily keeps up with her foster puppy sisters and brothers. Life may have throw BIrdie a curveball but BIrdie is still enjoying the GAME. Birdie Adoption Donation is $350. Birdie has been spayed, dewormed, and is UTD on all vaccinations. Birdie is being fostered in MISSOURI but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $125. Please fill out an application at WWW.ACTNOWRESCUE.NET. You can also call Birdies foster mom Tammy for more details @ 618.797.8605
