Tyson's Story...
Tyson is a fun loving guy whose two owners deserted him after they left college. Tyson was accustomed to be on the go at college and was brokenhearted only to be abandoned. Tyson would like to find a home where he can help keep your legs warm while you sleep or watch t.v. with you on the couch. He isn't big on kisses but he's great at flopping down and hanging out. If interested, please contact adalovesdogs@gmail.com

Tyson has a great understanding of children, although a big dog, he would do well in a home with older children just because he is active, but not hyper. Loud noises don't bother him and the occasional tugs here and there don't upset him either. If you enjoy hikes in the mountains, or time at the lake, consider making Tyson a part of your family. He is a great companion dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyson, a Sherman Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sherman, or seeking a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sherman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman paves the way for another one to be saved.
