My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate DOB: April 2012

I think that I am a person instead of a cat and love attention from my humans. This is probably because my mom died when I was really young and I had to be bottle-fed for a long time. I’ve also struggled with weight gain and have been separated from my siblings while I’ve been medicated and given lots of special care. I am now an eating machine and am finally catching up to my siblings. Although I! love to chase them and can find something to play with no matter where I am, I really prefer to climb on my human and enjoy typing on the laptop.......although they tell me that my writing doesn’t make any sense! I am quite the chatter-box as well and am quick to meow if I am not getting the attention that I think that I deserve.

My mom who was hit by a car when I was about 3 weeks old. The homeowner had provided a covered area for our birth and began feeding us KMR as soon as she noticed that mom was gone. She brought us inside so that we’d be out of the cold and called Furry Friends. We were named after the muses, the daughters of Zeus in Greek mythology who inspired many of the arts and our names just happen to be street names in New Orleans as well.

I am a charcoal gray with very faint tabby markings and a few light gray and buff-colored splotches on my coat. My foster mom calls me “Splotch” instead of my real name. My pictures don’t do me justice because I will never sit still. I like other cats, meeting new people and am not afraid of large dogs. Please consider being my forever friend, I promise you that I will return the favor with lots of purring and entertainment.

This kitty has had her initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea/tick preventative, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered.
