Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Hi, I'm Jack. I am about 8 years young - handsome and quite affectionate. You will have to plan on a good morning hug every single day if you choose me! I will also ask for a belly rub. I like to watch TV, but I do get a little barky at the other animals I see; I am just saying "Hi". I live with three other dogs and a bunch of kittens.... since I can't count on my paws I'm not sure how many there are. I love to run and jump and play with toys. My foster sister and I play for hours! I love some kids, but others I'm not sure about. My fostermom has a bunch of step-kids and they are very cool, so I'd like kids a bit older. I really don't like loud noises (I hide like during thunderstorms and fireworks). I would prefer somebody local because I love a ride in the car (LOVE!), but I really never want another plane ride. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Bangor Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Bangor, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Bangor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bangor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bangor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bangor paves the way for another one to be saved.
