Emma Jean is a lovely, sweet Maine Coon Diva cat. She was rescued from a backyard in Martinez. She thought she had found her forever home, but things changed for her. Her two male feline housemates started beating up on her, chasing and cornering her. Emma got so depressed she would just go off by herself in a corner of the room. She is dying for attention and would make a perfect one cat household cat.
She really just wants to be the Princess of the house. She blossoms when she is getting attention and loves to play. Her favorite toy is a ponytail holder. She will carry it around with her and go crazy playing hide and go seek with it.
She is more pretty in person with her glorious coat and think brown mane. When she gets excited she lets out a princess like demure little meow that is so cute, and is so Emma Jean! She really would like to be the only cat and be the center of attention, but if you have another laid back cat that would not jump on her and mess up her princess hair, she might be open to that idea. Emma Jean was born in June 2010.

CC4C, is a non-profit cat rescue organization founded in 1986 by citizens concerned with the growing numbers of abandoned and colonized cats.
CC4C is an all volunteer organization maintained on donations and fund-raising.
Our members, fosters and volunteers work hard to make a positive difference in the community and in lives of the cats.
Cats are fostered in the homes of members or non member foster homes. Please come join us in this positive experience.

You can view our cats at our adoption sites or schedule an appointment. Anyone interested in adopting a particular cat will complete an application. Potential adopters are interviewed by our foster caregivers and/or site coordinator and a recommendation is made for the adoption.
Adoption Fees:
Kittens (under a year old) $120.00, if you adopt a buddy, the adoption fee for the second kitty is $80.00.
Cats (over one year old) $100.00, if you adopt a buddy, the adoption fee for the second cat is $80.00.
The adoption fee includes at least the following; a health check, FeLV/FIV testing (FIV cannot be done until 4-months old), spay or neuter, FVRCP vaccine, de-worming, flea treatment, and micro chipping.
