Dugan is a handsome, dark black-and-tan male. He is 6 years old and is already fully vetted. He is a low positive for heartworms, but no microfilia are showing. He will be treated for heartworms prior to adoption.
Dugan is good with other dogs, but he is VERY slow to warm up to them and needs proper introductions and patience. He is supposedly good with cats and should be good with older kids.

Exactly 50% of the money raised will be given back in prizes, including one grand prize winner of $5,000*! Southeast German Shepherd Rescue; a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and creating lasting change for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned German Shepherd Dogs. Our priorities are to ensure that each dog we rescue is protected, provided with proper medical care, well-nourished and able to thrive in a loving forever home.
Our adoption process consists of three steps (Vet Interview, Phone Interview, Home Visit) after an initial application is filled out. Once all three steps are successfully completed then the adopter and their coordinator will work together to find the right dog. Our adoption fee is $250.
We serve all of NC, parts of SC and VA.
