My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sake is a 36 pound, 2 year old Finnish Spitz/ American Eskimo mix. Sake was dumped in a parking lot with all his worldly possessions which consisted of a bowl and a leash.

Sake is very agile and active and loves to be involved in all aspects of family life. Anything from hiking to stretching out on the couch to watch TV with you. He is smart and will respond well to positive motivational training.

Sake is cautious and may pretend he doesn't need anyone but family is very important to him and his heart can be easily broken. He is loyal and mischievous and loves to share his play time with his family. He wants to be part of your life in every way. If given the chance, he will charm his way into your heart.

Sake's antics will surely bring a smile to your face! He has a fetish for towels and throw rugs and will arrange them to his liking. Never chewing, just rearranging. This fetish comes in handy when you need to take the towels off the line. Just show Sake and he will pull them off for you- although he hasn't mastered the clothespins or getting the towels folded and in the basket yet ;)

Sake does well with other dogs and really enjoys the ones that will engage in some hard play. He's fine with cats- doesn't understand them so they are not worthy of his time or energy.

Sake is house trained and crate trained. His dream home would be one with active parents, someone with a sense of humor, possibly agility training and maybe another dog to wrestle with. He can be flexible on some of his wishes for a dream home but a special person or people to bond with and love him unconditionally are a must.
