Bruce-11181's Story...

Cuddly Cat-goyle

Bruce was adopted from Feral Friends in 2010, but his adopter had to give him up when they moved to a no-pets condo. He answers often to “Bruce” or “Baby Boy.” He enjoys peering down from the highest spot on the cat tree, or on top of his 6-foot-tall box with its blanket topper. When he’s not playing “cat-goyle” from some high perch, he’ll pace along the back of the couch, occasionally pausing to groom his foster mom’s hair. He’s prone to nipping those he loves, so please consider it a compliment when you feel his teeth on your arm. If you get upset, so will he.

This shy sweetheart gets along well with other cats once he’s had a chance to adjust. He will need a bit of extra time and attention to warm up to new people, especially men. His ideal home would be a quiet place without dogs or young children, both of which frighten him. Like his best friend, Wayne, he appreciates a snug hidey-hole where he can relax once in a while.

Bruce is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready for a fresh start in a forever home. He would love to be adopted along with Wayne, whom he’s been with since they were kittens. If you’d like to meet him, please contact us at

About Feral Friends Community Cat Alliance

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to assist the community to reduce feline overpopulation. We accomplish this mission with two programs.
Our adoption program called Rescue and Re-Home places cats and kittens for adoption into loving homes.
Our feral cat program called Race to Reduce Litters utilizes TNR (Trap, Neuter and Return) to help control feral cat breeding and overpopulation. Cats are humanely trapped, sterilized and vaccinated against rabies and are returned to their original location where human caregivers provide food. Kittens from feral colonies are tamed and entered into our adoption program.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold our adoptions on Saturday's from 11-4. Our locations are PetSmart N. Dallas at 16821 Coit Rd.
Dallas, TX 75248 and PetSmart Rowlett at 5709 Liberty Grove, Rowlett, TX 75088.
We also hold adoptions during the week by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees are $105 for adults and $135 for kittens. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, microchipped and treated for parasites.
In addition, we offer a free 30 day pet health insurance policy.
