Arthur's Story...
Arthur is an adorable, little apple head Chihuahua with a face that you will never forget. He’s perfectly friendly when you meet him and you can often find him wagging his tail. He’s got thick, beautiful white fur and a tail that is brown on the top half and white on the bottom.
Arthur is looking for that special someone he can cuddle up to when he sleeps. He quickly bonds with people who show him kindness and shower him with affection.
He gets along well with dogs, but because of his pint size (about 6 pounds) would do better with smaller dogs.
Arthur estimated to be 5 years old, is neutered, up to date on his shots and micro-chipped. If you would like to meet Arthur, please complete an application at www.RescueAChi.com and we will call you to set-up a time to meet him in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arthur, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
