“Cat TV” Enthusiast
Curly (who seems to prefer being called “Wayne”) was adopted from Feral Friends in 2010, but his adopter had to give him up when they moved to a no-pets condo. He’s a shy but loving boy who can while away many an hour perched in a window watching “cat TV.” Tall cat trees are another favorite pastime, especially when they have enclosed spaces where he can feel warm and snug. And speaking of snug, Curly is also partial to his “cave” – a box lined with towels where he can go to relax when he’s feeling stressed.
With Curly, patience will be the name of the game. Although he likes watching the dogs outside from the safety of a windowsill, he gets nervous around dogs up close. Young children scare him, too. But he’s wonderful with other cats and integrates with them very quickly, and he’s quite the cuddly conversationalist once he gets to know a new human.
Curly is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and ready for a fresh start in a forever home. He would love to be adopted along with Doodlebug, whom he’s been with since they were kittens. If you’d like to meet him, please contact us at 972-671-0429 or adopt@FeralFriends.org.

Rescue Group Info...
Our mission is to assist the community to reduce feline overpopulation. We accomplish this mission with two programs.
Our adoption program called Rescue and Re-Home places cats and kittens for adoption into loving homes.
Our feral cat program called Race to Reduce Litters utilizes TNR (Trap, Neuter and Return) to help control feral cat breeding and overpopulation. Cats are humanely trapped, sterilized and vaccinated against rabies and are returned to their original location where human caregivers provide food. Kittens from feral colonies are tamed and entered into our adoption program.
We hold our adoptions on Saturday's from 11-4. Our locations are PetSmart N. Dallas at 16821 Coit Rd.
Dallas, TX 75248 and PetSmart Rowlett at 5709 Liberty Grove, Rowlett, TX 75088.
We also hold adoptions during the week by appointment.
Our adoption fees are $105 for adults and $135 for kittens. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, microchipped and treated for parasites.
In addition, we offer a free 30 day pet health insurance policy.
We serve the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.
