Danny's Story...
Danny is an adorable 10 week old collie/retriever mixed pup. He is black and white fluffy pup. He has started his crate training and is doing really well. His foster mom says he is a very good little boy with a nice energy level (not too wild). He is being fostered with other dogs, cats and children. Danny is being fostered in NH and is available for a meet and greet prior to adoption. (like all of our dogs!). Remember that puppies require lots of time for housebreaking and training in order to grow into good adult dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please read the following carefully: Please email with your name, address and phone number along with a brief description of the home you can provide. Danny's adoption fee is $300 (50.00 will be refunded upon proof of alter) Danny is UTD for age appropriate shots and wormings, microchipped and started on monthly heartworm preventative. Unfortunately, due to the number of outstanding checks we have had recently, we will now be only accepting cash at the time of adoption. Please understand that we are an all volunteer organization and it might take us a couple days to get back to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a Windham Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Windham, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
