Link's Story...
Intake: June 29, 2012

Hi Everyone!! I'm Link! I'm a cute, little guy that recently came into rescue. My siblings and I were abandoned in Portage, but a nice lady took care of us. The local rescue was full but, luckily, PVHS had room for us so here we are! We are too little for visitors or to go to new homes just yet, but you can still send in an adoption application on us! Your application, once approved, will be put in the order it was received & then when we are old enough (near the end of July) you can come meet us :) We would love to have new homes waiting for us by the time we are old enough to leave the shelter! Please consider adopting one of us, but remember... we WILL grow up & puppies are a lot of work so make sure you're ready to commit to us for life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Link, a Morden Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Morden, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Morden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morden paves the way for another one to be saved.
