William's Story...
Hi, I’m William! I am a totally adorable short hair black kitten, and I am full of love and fun! I am approx..8 months old as of March 2013. I am neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLv and dewormed and housetrained/litterbox trained prior to adoption. My mom, siblings and I are all very lucky! My mom was stuck behind bars at a very high kill shelter, through no fault of her own. She was ready to give birth to all of us and the shelter was going to kill her. Thank goodness A4A stepped in and saved my mom (Greta’s) life, just in time, literally! After we arrived safe and sound in our A4A volunteer foster home, our mom gave birth to us just about 1 week later. We are all happy, healthy, loving, friendly and fun kittens now and we are looking to each find loving, forever homes to call our very own. Remember, if you adopt 2 of us together there is a bonded kitten special!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

William, a Xenia Russian Blue kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Russian Blue kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
