UPDATE: I love my foster mom but I am not overly thrilled with the other cats I live with. I think I would like to be an only cat. I can be very loving and love to give head buts. I am a good girl but other cats are not my thing. Want to be a couple with me? I will be your best friend.

My mom is a nun and is currently undergoing cancer treatments. She is no longer able to care for my brother and me. My brother is the big boy, Sammy. I am a beautiful girl (at least my mom and foster mom tell me so, and I always believe them). I am a little shy at first but after a couple of days when I know I am safe I will come to you and let you love on me. I am very gentle and pretty quiet even though I am almost all Maine Coon and they can be quite the squeakers.
UPDATE: 08/20/12 My brother, Sammie, has found his forever home. So now it is just me. I love my foster mom and I know she loves me. But I would like to find someone who has just me and maybe only one other furry child. I love attention and will show you how much if you give me a chance.
I do have horrible reactions to vaccinations so if you decide to make me a part of your family please ask for my previous vet records so you know what can and should not be done. BY THE WAY, MY MOM HAD US VACCINATED FOR FeLV AND FIV, SO I SHOW POSITIVE FOR FIV DUE TO THE VACCINE.

Ami (from the word amiable) is about 5 yrs. of age with a high spirit of play. As she warms up to you, she would love to be allowed to rest on your lap to snuggle and to be petted. Ami knows here name and comes when she is called. One of the fun things she enjoys is to retrieve small toys and bring them back to you. She is fixed but not declawed and is up to date on her shots. She is in good health.

Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working to end the plight and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens in the greater Cincinnati area. We do this by educating the general public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to lessen the drastic over-population of cats; we provide foster homes to cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and provide information and guidance to people working to help the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter and release) efforts.
Meet the cats every Saturday at our adoption events (details listed below), and you can see the cats on Petfinders and 1800save-a-pet in the hopes of finding good homes for them.

Adoptions Events are held on Saturdays at the several local Petsmart and Petco stores. If you would like to meet a specific cat, please contact us ahead of time and we will bring the cat to the weekend event.
