My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bugg, he is just a kitten and he is just learning that human hands touching him is kinda ok. Bugg and his sisters Foxxy and Rachel came from one of our trapping projects. His playground was a parking lot.
These 3 kittens are so unusually marked they are stunning. The clinic at first thought Bugg was a girl at first look he carries a hint of calico.
Bugg needs an experienced handler, one who understands that feral kittens need a gentle hand and soft words. His shelter mom works with him and he is beginning to trust, she holds him on her lap and his fear soon turns to half a purr. He is really trying to give in and we think he will.
The second picture is this little kitten trying to look bad so we won't touch him.
If you have the time and love for a stunningly beautiful scardy cat, please give us a call and let's talk about Bugg and his needs. We will not release him to just anyone, you have to understand cats/kittens and have love and understanding for this little guy needs.

You can visit me 7 days a week at PetSmart in Bethlehem / Winder, Georgia.
We are over in the cat section of the store, just look for me in my pretty hammack.
You can also call Altered Feral State if you want more information on me, just ask for
Jill (770) 876-0659
or
Stacie (678) 725-7840
And of course all the nice people at PetSmart will be glad to help you adopt me here at the store.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
