My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Comet and I'm a loving puppy who is ready for my new life and family. As of 6/19 I am about 12+ weeks old. I think I'm a shepherd/lab mix, but all I know is that I'm super cute!! I'm probably going to be a large dog when full grown (but please only apply if you don't mind what size I end up!). I'm a typical happy-go-lucky pup. I'm super sweet and enjoy giving kisses! Adoption fee $425. As a legal MA rescue all of our dogs have been through the states mandated 48hr Isolation at an approved isolation facility and had a clean health exam by a MA vet. We then place our dogs in one of our many wonderful foster homes. Please be sure to read all the info below. We look for families who have the time and commitment to raise a puppy to be a great dog. All dogs adopted from One Tail at a Time Rescue are here in New England at foster homes, spayed or neutered, up to date with vaccines, have been wormed, and are ready to go to their new homes now. We prefer adoptive homes in MA and NH -- we do not ship our dogs. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION unless you are ready to take a dog home now. Even if approved for a specific dog, we will not hold dogs while you go on vacation or a business trip or prepare your home. Our dogs are being cared for in private homes by volunteer foster families. Appointments to see our dogs are scheduled once an application has been submitted and approved by our adoption counselors.
