ALI's Story...
ALI, 8 week old, pulled from the shelter on 6/30. Dachshund mix female. Tiny girl only 4 pounds right now. Super sweet. Looking for her forever home. She is up to date on shots, but still waiting to get a little bigger before she is spayed. She will be a foster to adopt situation. She is currently fostered with Michelle in Lutz. If you are interested in adopting, please send an email to AdoptFromFARR@yahoo.com with the dog’s name listed in the subject line. Please include your name and return contact info. FARR – Florida Retriever Rescue is composed totally of volunteers working to save the lives of neglected and unwanted dogs. The $250 adoption fee helps to cover the first 2 shots, Dewormer, and neuter/spay fees, as well as any transport/pull fees FARR may have paid to shelter. All funds are used strictly for our rescues. You can also check out our other available rescue dogs and puppies currently fostered around the Tampa Bay area by visiting FARR Adopt-A-Pet or Facebook: FARR Florida All Retriever Rescue. Why Adoption is a Great Option

ALI, a Largo Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Largo, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
