Spencer's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Spencer's Story...
Spencer was found as a stray and the owner was never found. He is approx 10 years old, super sweet and needs a loving home. He needs to eat soft food only. He does not have many teeth, and what he has is not great. He is a great little guard dog and will let you know when someone is at the door or a stranger has walked in the room. He is partially cratetrained, but can't be left for long periods, he is old and has a small bladder. So frequent walks to potty is a must unless you don't mind cleaning up after him. He has has not pooped in the house though. He was neutered last week, found unaltered. He has received his vaccinations for the year, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If you would like to give little Spencer a place to retire and a nice bed to sleep on, he would love to be your special little guy. He is being fostered in Upstate SC. Transport is available in August. Adoption fee covers vet services and transport.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spencer, a Baltimore Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
