Alexia's Story...
Hello my name is Alexia. I am a pure German Shepherd adult female. I am a very gentle and very loving dog. I was found hanging out at the local convenience store and no one claimed me, so here I am waiting for my new family. I'm with my foster parents right now and some other foster dogs. I love being in the house and do very well because I like being with the family. I am house trained also, so that is another excellent feature of mine. If you'd like to visit me just call and my secretary will set up a time. Thank you for considering me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexia, a Yorkville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Yorkville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Yorkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
