Everybody, meet Pera! Pera is an adorable, shiny and happy kitty who likes to love and play with you -- all day long if possible! She was skin and bones when she was brought in a few months ago after being abused while she was growing up. She has turned out to be a lovely, social kitty whose hobbies are playing with multicolored kitty tennis balls, sitting in your lap watching TV, stretching in the sun and of course purring loudly while you pet her or when you talk to her! She adores just being around people - she follows her foster around the house and sees everything that is being done, holds up the conversation and of course lends a small paw when there is need for her help! It is incredible to see the amount of love and affection that this little kitty can offer, despite her horrible experiences as a kitten. Pera will make a loving and loyal kitty for anyone who will take her in and offer her a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pera, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
