Dakota's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dakota's Story...
Dakota is a gorgeous 4 1/2 month old border collie; she's petite for her breed and currently weighs about 25 lbs. She's very people-oriented and will soak up all the love and attention you can give her; she's smart and eager to learn so will train quickly. She is submissive with dogs and people; she has such a gentle soul - there's no way you can avoid falling in love with her! She is potty-trained but does have a tendency to chew ... understandable since she's a puppy.
Dakota's adoption fee is $200; she's spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Indianapolis Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
