Dorito's Story...
Born 4/20/12
Male Orange Tabby Persian Mix
Regular adoption fee: see below

Believe it or not Dorito was born to a Golden Tabby Persian named Maggie May (available on our Persian Page); we're not sure who "daddy" is. Dorito has a short plush coat of fur with striking tabby markings and a rounder face. This guy is definately all boy! He is a wild one, loves to play, play, play with anything he can find. Dorito is definately the dare devil out of the group with a ton of confidence, no shy guy here. Although when he is ready to relax he will come find you for a love session. He will be a big kitty, currently outweighing his siblings, Dorito has a lean muscular build. Dorito is litterbox perfect and waiting to meet his new family.

Dorito is being fostered in the Sacramento area. Contact Bonnie at for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dorito, a Davis Persian kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Persian kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
