Hi, my name is Ozzy! I'm an 18 month old Rottie/Am Staff mix. I'm a big boy and already weigh approximately 75 pounds. I love to roughhouse and hang with other dogs, but I haven't been kiddies yet. However, ask my adoption coordinator and she can try to find out if I like them! I don't care much for cats though, so would really rather go to a home without them.

I don't how or why I ended up at the shelter, but I have a lot of love to give my new family. I promise to shower my new family with lots of big wet kisses and cuddles. Could you be my furever home?

Like most shelter dogs, Ozzy may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $300, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our
Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Holly at HollyC@luckydoganimalrescue.org!

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
Our Adoption Process...
The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue rescues homeless and abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters, owners who can no longer care for them, and other high-risk situations. Lucky Dog works with dedicated volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and kennels to provide loving temporary care while we find well-matched, carefully screened forever homes for each dog we take in. We also serve as a support group to our adopters and all dog owners by providing ongoing education and resources for the well-being of their dogs, including the importance of proactive spay/neuter policies, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
