ALVIN THE CHIPMUNKS: ‘MEMBER THEM??? Well, that is what Ahimsa Angel Teresa calls me because I remind her of a chipmunk: not the living under ground and popping up like a piece of bread out of a toaster but all the cuteness of them: little, sweet faces, playful, fun to watch, make you say “OOOOOO” and ‘AHHHHHHH”; that is I, Alvin.

Look at my face! Don’t I just have the devil of play in it? I’m waaaaaaaiting for you. They think maybe I have some Boston Terrier in me because of my black/white markings, and if so, oooooooooooooh aren’t you lucky! Let me show how funny, how smart, how playful, how eager I am to please.

I am a pup—I heard them whisper I was ‘homeless’!! Huh. What chu talkin’ ‘bout???? Ahimsa is a perfect home: safe, kind, tons of friends, TONS of food, lots of gentle hands stroking my fur, naps to die for, and buds who will play at a moment’s notice.

BUT, it is not YOUR home: a permanent, responsible, FOREVER home with people who think I am just grand. People who write Angel Teresa later (she loves to get emails about adopted pups) about how they ADORE me. That’s it!! It just hit me. Alvin the Adored! Now that is a fantasy which I hope becomes a reality. OOOPS, a game of Lacrosse just started in the field; I was picked first! Must go run and pick up my tiny Lacrosse stick. Uh Huh. But I will watch for you.
