PIPPA's Story...
PIPPA- adoptfromfarr@yahoo.com 6 Sisters and one Brother. They are all white or cream. All have dew claws and most have double dews showing the Great Pyrenees breed trait. They are super sweet, but arrived Very Skinny. No worries, we are working hard to fatten everyone up. These poor babies were abandoned at an AL shelter extremely malnourished. The shelter worked hard and put some weight on them, but they still need more. Some are fluffier than others, but appear to maybe have Golden or Lab as their mix. They love to give kisses and have your constant attention. Paige is in Citrus Park. All are up to date on shots, but we are waiting for Neuter & Spay until they gain a little more weight. If you are interested in adopting, please send an email to AdoptFromFARR@yahoo.com with the dogs name listed in the subject line. Please include your name and return contact info. FARR Florida Retriever Rescue is composed totally of volunteers working to save the lives of neglected and unwanted dogs. The $200 adoption fee helps to cover the first 2 shots, Dewormer, and neuter/spay fees, as well as any transport/pull fees FARR may have paid to shelter. All funds are used strictly for our rescues. You can also check out our other available rescue dogs and puppies currently fostered around the Tampa Bay area by visiting FARR Adopt-A-Pet or Facebook: FARR Florida All Retriever Rescue. Thank you for your interest in a rescue dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PIPPA, a Largo Great Pyrenees/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Largo, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
