Brodie's Story...
Brodie is the sweetest black lab mixed puppy you will ever meet. He is 5-6 months old and 38lbs now so he will likely be around 60 pounds when full grown. He is crate trained and is doing well with housebreaking. He has a submissive, laid back personality and loves to be near his people. He gets along with everything and will play with his foster brother and sister even though they are bigger than him. He is curious about cats but respects their boundaries. He is a typical lab and loves playing in his swimming pool. He also loves toys, chew bones, and would like nothing better than to lay across your lap and let you love on him. He is especially fond of belly rubs! If you are interested in meeting Brodie or finding out more about him please email his foster mom at: cathy.momsrescueva@gmail.com and she can let you know about our adoption process!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brodie, a Richmond Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
